Pengembangan Kompetensi Guru Bahasa Inggris 2024

The English Teacher Competency Development Program (PKGBI), launched by the Ministry of Education in collaboration with Pearson and CNL Books, enhances English teachers’ proficiency and teaching skills across Indonesia. Engaging over 11,000 teachers, the program achieved an average 10% proficiency improvement, with many advancing from A2 to B1 on the Global Scale of English (GSE). Beyond measurable progress, teachers reported increased confidence and classroom effectiveness, supporting Indonesia’s vision of developing globally competent educators and learners.

Pengembangan Kompetensi Guru Bahasa Inggris Lanjutan - Jawa Timur

The Pengembangan Kompetensi Guru Bahasa Inggris (PKGBI) Lanjutan program builds on the national PKGBI initiative to help teachers apply training skills in classrooms. In East Java, it has engaged 165 teachers and positively impacted over 6,000 students. The program features advanced pedagogy training, workshops on Pearson’s resources, and material alignment with the national curriculum, enhancing teaching quality and English education in Indonesia.

Pengembangan Kompetensi Guru Bahasa Inggris - Otorita Ibu Kota Nusantara

The Government English Proficiency Program (GEPP), initiated by Otorita Ibu Kota Nusantara in collaboration with Pearson and CNL Books, aims to improve English proficiency among government employees. It enhances communication skills for global interaction, access to international knowledge, and cross-border collaboration. GEPP supports Indonesia’s goal of creating a skilled workforce ready to contribute to national and international development.

Pengembangan Kompetensi Guru Bahasa Inggris - Direktorat Guru Pendidikan Dasar

CNL Books, in partnership with the Direktorat Guru Pendidikan Dasar and Pearson Indonesia, aims to enhance English language proficiency among its team through the Pearson English Program (Roadmap). This program offers structured learning pathways tailored to various proficiency levels, helping participants improve their English communication skills in professional and academic settings.
